Technical Recruitment Team Leader
We are looking for an aircraft paint team leader for one of our main clients in Switzerland.
Key responsabilities
- Lead and coordinate daily paint and detailing activities, including polishing, paint blending, smart repairs, technical markings, and sealant applications.
- Allocate tasks effectively and monitor workflow to ensure production targets and quality standards are achieved.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards (OSHA, EPA, FAA, etc.).
- Oversee proper use of tooling, materials, and PPE.
- Perform in-process and final inspections to verify compliance with approved specifications.
- Support manpower planning and adjust priorities in coordination with the Paint Supervisor.
- Provide training, mentorship, and technical guidance to paint technicians and apprentices.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to labor hours, materials usage, and job progress.
- Liaise with Maintenance, Interiors, Quality, and other departments to ensure smooth aircraft flow.
- Identify technical issues related to paint processes or equipment and propose continuous improvement measures.
- Promote and maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in aircraft paint application and detailing.
- Solid understanding of aircraft paint systems, touch-up techniques, detailing procedures, and sealant application.
- Ability to read and interpret paint schemes, technical documentation, and work instructions.
- English proficiency at minimum B1 level; additional languages are advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Demonstrated ability to manage schedules, labor hours, and team performance.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving mindset and proactive approach to operational challenges.
- High level of reliability, integrity, and professionalism.
