Main Duties and Responsibilities:
L eadership responsibilities
- Line manage selected specialised Technical Instructors, Facilities Controller, and Business Support Assistants. Managing their workload allocation, welfare, performance, and development.
- Contribute to identification and embedding of business continuous improvements across systems, processes and ways of working relating to operational performance and planning.
Training Operations Support
- Support the planning and coordination of training delivery, such as course scheduling, resource planning, and operational readiness.
- Monitor operational processes to ensure training delivery aligns with regulatory, quality and customer expectations.
- Act as a central coordination point between training delivery, sales, facilities, administration, and wider business functions. Also liaising with clients and students as required.
Business Support & Administration Management
- Ensure administrative processes, procedures, and student records are documented, maintained and aligned with ISO 9001 and internal quality standards.
- Coordinate administrative logistics covering accommodation, travel, consumables, supplier arrangements, and operational support.
- Maintain robust data and document management practices in line with GDPR, regulatory and client requirements.
- Act as a central coordination point for internal operational administration across RTS.
Facilities & Operational Infrastructure
- Oversee the RTS facilities function in partnership with the Facilities Controller, covering site standards, maintenance, asset management and key support contracts.
- Support the Facilities Controller in maintaining effective Health & Safety and Fire controls and addressing infrastructure-related risks.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a coordination, supervisory or operational management role.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Confident working across operational, administrative and facilities-related responsibilities.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise across teams and with external stakeholders.
- Comfortable working within and shaping systems, data, documentation and process-driven environments.
- Experience within regulated, compliance-led or safety-critical environments.
