Service Engineer f/m/d

Would you like to work in a customer environment where no two days are the same and your expertise is in demand?

With us, you will be responsible for maintaining and calibrating highly specialized AVL measuring devices and systems, as well as performing service calls directly at customer sites in Steyr . You will work closely with our AVL service hotline and the development department and provide our customers with expert advice on the use of our AVL products.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Preparation and execution of service calls at customer sites
• Maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of measuring devices and systems, in particular exhaust gas measurement systems and particle measuring devices
• Interface to the AVL service hotline and the development team
• Preparation of protocols, service reports, and quality documents
• Advising customers on operation and application

YOUR PROFILE:

• Completed education (Secondary Technical College, Apprenticeship) in electrical engineering, mechatronics, automotive engineering, or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in the maintenance, production, or calibration of measuring devices/systems is an advantage
• Experience in the automotive sector is an advantage
• High problem-solving skills
• Confident and friendly manner
• High degree of flexibility and ability to work in a team
• Very good knowledge in German is required, good English knowledge is an advantage

Annual Remuneration: Due to the Austrian Equal Treatment Act we are obligated to state the annual gross remuneration (full-time) for this position as a basis for negotiation: €47,600.00. The Employee will be classified according to the Collective Agreement for Employees of Industry (Collective Bargaining Agreement of the Automotive Industry). We will, in any case, offer market-conforming payment taking qualifications and professional experience into account.
