At the earliest possible date we are looking for you for our Helios Hanseklinikum Stralsund as

Healthcare and Nursing Specialist Sepsis Management (m/f/d)

• You will advise all professional groups on the implementation of hygiene measures in relation to the prevention of bloodstream infections and monitor them
• You will communicate infection prevention measures in accordance with the hospital hygiene guidelines
• You record and evaluate bloodstream infections brought in and nosocomial bloodstream infections, present the data and organize and independently carry out further training to improve quality for all professional groups
• You optimize blood culture diagnostics (sample transport, diagnostic process, automated transmission of findings)
• You will compile monthly statistics on quality indicators
• You are the contact person and coordinate the implementation of the sepsis quality assurance procedure in our hospital

• Completed vocational training as a nurse (m/f/d) with two years of professional experience
• Very good knowledge of PC/Excel and Word/Power Point as well as willingness to give presentations and confident handling of presentation techniques
• Friendliness, ability to work in a team, social skills, flexibility, persuasiveness and organizational talent
• Willingness to participate in further training
• Reading medical literature (also in English) should not be a challenge for you
• Legally required proof of immunization against measles

Around 50,000 outpatients and inpatients are treated each year, of which around 250 patients suffer from sepsis.
