What you will be doing
You will be on a development pathway to guide your growth into the role of Ramp-up Management in Operations (d/f/m) and can expect to be involved in the following:
In the planned rotational placement to support your growth into position, it is intended to complete multi-week practical sections in at least three departments (Production Planning, Manufacturing, and Test Field) within Operations. This will allow for an in-depth engagement with the various requirements and aspects. Additionally, phases in development and the supply chain are planned to understand the fundamental workflows. Special attention is given to the interfaces with and within Operations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Effective, cross-departmental implementation of innovative pre-series and production launches with cost and schedule responsibility.
- Interdisciplinary organization and coordination of cross-functional tasks necessary for production launch.
- Development of strategic production scenarios and decision-making templates (e.g., Make or Buy) for presentation to management.
- Cross-project capture, consolidation, and optimization of CAPEX, space, and skill requirements derived from customer needs or Tesat goals, with continuous alignment with existing resources.
- Support for cross-divisional tasks, such as within the framework of OES, DDMS, or audits.
- Responsibility for cross-departmental and cross-location best practice exchange to continuously develop the production system.
- Planning, preparation, and effective implementation of cross-departmental improvement or development measures within the Operations area.
What we are looking for
To be a successful applicant to the Airbus Global Graduate Programme, you will need to demonstrate you have:
- A degree level or equivalent within a relevant field of study ( Production Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a comparable field)
- Recently graduated or first professional experience in the field of Manufacturing Engineering, Electronical Manufacturing, Automatisation, Robotics, Production Technology
- First experience in planning and implementing improvement projects
- Entrepreneurial thinking, as well as awareness of deadlines, costs, and quality
- Independent, goal-oriented, and solution-focused work style combined with excellent communication skills
- Strong verbal and written communication in our business language (English) as well as fluent skills in German language (corresponding to C1)
- A desire to work in a collaborative team environment, focused on driving future innovation
- The ability to be self aware and a wish to be in the driving seat of your development.
