The Rectorate Office of the University of Hohenheim supports the university management in strategic, organisational, and representative tasks. It coordinates central decision-making processes and acts as an interface between the Rectorate, the administration and external partners. It also supports committee work and university policy issues.

The University is looking for the following position in the Rectorate Office, Department of Business Relations, Fundraising and Alumni Management, starting on 1 Mai 2026:

Alumni Manager (m/f/d)
30% (permanent) and an additional 50% (fixed-term until 18 November 2026), up to E13 TV-L, job sharing possible

YOUR TASKS

• Central contact person for alumni management at the University of Hohenheim
• Further development of national and international alumni work (concept and strategy)
• Responsibility for public relations work for alumni management (design and implementation of events, alumni newsletter, alumni website, alumni print material)
• Collaboration with other stakeholders within the university
  Networking and external presentation of the department

YOUR PROFILE

• You have successfully completed a university degree (Master’s/Magister/ Diploma) in communication/ public relations or a comparable degree
• You have successfully completed a university degree (Master’s/Magister/ Diploma) in communication/ public relations or a comparable degree
• You have experience in alumni management or community management
• You have good editorial skills and are proficient in storytelling or similar writing techniques
• You enjoy content and communication work
• Ideally, you have CMS experience (Typo3) and a background in photo and video editing
• You are characterised by an independent, structured way of working and a high willingness to collaborate
• You have strong presentation and moderation skills and can convey complex content in a convincing manner tailored to the target audience
• Last but not least, you have good to very good English skills
