We are seeking a Junior Bid Manager (m/f/d) to support our Pre-Sales team serving Public and Enterprise customers in Germany and Austria. This full-time position offers a dynamic entry point into the IT industry, combining commercial and technical responsibilities. The role involves close collaboration with Sales, Finance, and Service departments, and includes international interaction across teams. Remote work flexibility is available.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Bid Managers in preparing competitive and strategic offers for tenders
• Provide accurate product cost forecasts at component level for the next 9–12 months
• Deliver insights on product transitions and platform strategies (e.g., sell-up/sell-down)
• Conduct product transition reviews to improve profitability and document outcomes
• Analyze customer requests to define the optimal product configuration for tenders
• Optimize costs by selecting appropriate components within existing tender frameworks
• Maintain expertise on focus products and monitor industry trends
• Share competitive positioning insights and best practices with the sales organization

Position Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Industrial Engineering
• Strong analytical and structured thinking with a fact-based decision-making approach
• Technical understanding, preferably with knowledge of IT hardware
• Sales affinity and customer-centric mindset
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VBA not required)
• High level of commitment and results orientation
• Excellent written and spoken English and German communication skills
• Suitable for recent graduates; no prior professional experience required
