Your Contribution

  • A three-year, individually designed doctoral (PhD) program in the Group's advanced engineering department
  • PhD program in the field of vehicle powertrain, future technologies, cost efficiency, and market development
  • Intensive research and development work in close cooperation with industrial partners and research companies
  • Partner university: University of Stuttgart
  • Competent support from the department, personnel development and the university
  • Early discussion about possible career options within the MAHLE group

  • Excellent university degree (Master or comparable) in automotive engineering, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or similar fields with a focus on vehicle systems or technology management
  • Basic knowledge of longitudinal dynamics simulation, life cycle analysis as well as an understanding of vehicle architectures and powertrain variants is an advantage.
  • Excellent English and fluent German skills
  • Independent scientific work, flexibility, ability to work in a team, structured thinking, commitment
