Product Manager (m/f/x)

Our breeding activities comprise bedding and balcony plants, houseplants, perennials and cut flowers. With our production sites and sales companies in Europe, Africa, Asia and America, we serve all relevant markets worldwide.

YOUR TASKS

• Management of the entire product management process for the assigned crops
• Active portfolio development, including the introduction of new products and the discontinuation of existing ones
• Description and positioning of assortments and products
• Portfolio analysis and evaluation for the areas of breeding, production, and sales
• Active maintenance of all relevant databases and systems
• Administration and documentation of portfolio decisions in databases
• Execution and evaluation of appropriate trials, including data collection
• Technical support and consulting for sales teams and customers
• Assessment and monitoring of implementation and cost-effectiveness

YOUR PROFILE

• Gardener / Horticultural Technician / bachelor’s degree in Horticulture or a comparable qualification
• Practical experience and understanding of cultivation processes
• Experience in working with complex databases and strong systems knowledge
• Market knowledge desirable
• Excellent command of English; additional foreign language skills are an advantage
• Flexibility, assertiveness, decisiveness, and reliability
• Committed personality with passion and sensitivity for plants
