We support the 57,000 or so students in the Stuttgart university region with services such as food, accommodation, childcare, BAföG and counseling. And we have been doing this for more than 100 years! The International Student Hotel offers exchange students, guest lecturers and external guests comfortable and affordable accommodation for short stays in a central location. The 70 single and double rooms and a cozy lounge create a personal atmosphere that is highly appreciated by guests. Work with us side by side for the students and become part of our dedicated team of 400 employees!

We are looking for a full-time receptionist (m/f/d) for our International Student Hotel with immediate effect .

As a Receptionist at the International Student Hotel, the wishes and needs of our guests are the focus of your work. You are the first point of contact and ensure that our guests feel welcome and well looked after.

What sets you apart

• You are familiar with Stuttgart and the surrounding area and are looking forward to learning important information about the university location.
• You have completed vocational training in the hotel industry or in the commercial sector and preferably already have professional experience in the front office or in the hotel industry.
• Your IT skills are good and you ideally have experience with common hotel software, such as Protel.
• In addition, you have very good written and spoken German and English skills to be able to look after our international guests in the best possible way.
• Your communication skills and your enjoyment of contact with people are your strengths.
• In addition, you are characterized by very good manners, a well-groomed appearance and a professional demeanor.

• Remuneration according to the collective agreement of the federal states with pay group 6 TV-L (€ 3,318.08 to € 3,665.52 per month depending on previous experience ) plus annual bonus , shift allowance and bonuses for working on Sundays, public holidays, Saturdays and, if applicable, at night
• Employer contribution of € 2,346 to € 2,592 p.a. to the company pension scheme with the VBL (depending on salary range)
