Student Assistant (m/f/d) - Public outreach & Website Support (KomBioTa - 101)KomBioTa (Competence Center for Biodiversity & Taxonomy) promotes research, networking, and public engagement in the fields of biodiversity and taxonomy. We are currently looking for a motivated student assistant to support our communications and outreach activities at the earliest possible start date.
Position Details
o Minimum workload: 20 hours per month
o Duration: At least 6 months, ideally up to 12 months
o Working hours: Flexible, by arrangement

Your Responsibilities
- Maintaining and updating our website (Typo3)
- Supporting events and outreach activities , including:
- Preparing materials and assisting with setup and dismantling
- Staffing information booths and engaging with visitors
- Designing print materials such as posters and flyers
- Taking photos and videos at events
- Editing and preparing visual content for social media (e.g., short-form videos/reels)
Your Profile
- Strong technical and creative skills , particularly:
- Experience with Typo3
- Graphic design skills
- Experience in photography and/or video editing
- Basic familiarity with social media content creation (e.g., Reels)
- Independent, reliable, and well-organized working style
- Enjoy working in a team and engaging with the public
- An interest in biology - especially biodiversity and taxonomy - is welcome but not required
