SANDWICH ARTIST (M/F/D)

Subway® SANDWICH ARTISTS (m/f/d) are the face of our restaurants. They not only prepare and serve the delicious Subway® sandwiches but also greet guests and provide them with excellent service. You will be the reason why guests return to us.

Your Responsibilities

• Food Preparation: Including baking bread and cookies.
• Hygiene & Safety: Ensuring food preparation and storage areas comply with health, safety and auditing standards.
• Compliance: Complying with food guidelines.
• Customer Service: Operating the cash register and providing top-quality service when handling products, selling and serving guests.
• Inventory & Logistics: Monitoring stock levels and accepting deliveries.
• Cleaning & Maintenance: Implementing daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
• Safety & Security: Complying to protection and safety measures and creating a safe work environment for employees and guests.
• Brand Presentation: Maintaining a neat personal appearance in the provided uniform to meet customer expectations of the Subway® brand.
• Teamwork: Working as a constructive team member.

The Ideal Candidate (M/F/D)

Previous experience in food preparation, catering, retail sales, and/or guest service is desirable but not essential – because you will receive comprehensive training and participate in various courses at the University of Subway®. What is important is demonstrating a will to succeed as a team member.

If you are currently working in customer service, retail as a salesperson, or in a restaurant and want to pursue a career in the food industry, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

As a SANDWICH ARTIST, you will serve, add value, and respond to guest requests in an efficient, friendly manner. In this role, you will promote the awareness of the Subway® brand and ensure that hygiene standards are met.
