Your tasks?

• As a Working Student (m/f/d), an exciting research field in in-car XR technologies awaits you.

• You will support us in the conception of interactive XR concepts in Unity (C#), as well as their prototypical implementation – from the initial feasibility study to the final build.

• Depending on your interests, you can research and develop innovative approaches to reduce motion sickness in in-car AR/VR applications in moving vehicles, or by using Deep Learning methods, optimize the precision of in-car AR/VR interactions, reduce the error rate, and thus make a significant contribution to improving the user experience.

Your profile?

• You are an enrolled Master's student (m/f/d) in Computer Science, Media Informatics, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.

• You possess sound knowledge of Unity, C#, or Python.

• Furthermore, you bring basic experience in immersive technologies (AR/VR/MR), ideally complemented by knowledge in handling Head-Mounted Displays, as well as experience in scientific work and conducting user studies.

• Your enthusiasm for Augmented or Virtual Reality, along with your strong analytical and conceptual skills and your high motivation to familiarize yourself with new technologies and topics, distinguish you.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken, are a matter of course for you.

• A Class B driving license is an advantage to optimally support our in-car studies.

• You are keen to regularly collaborate with your team on-site in Stuttgart or Ulm.

To ensure that there is still enough free time in addition to studying and working, you will receive a pro rata 30 vacation days with us as well as the opportunity to plan your working hours flexibly. In coordination with your team and your contact person, you also have the opportunity to work remotely. In addition, almost all of our positions are suitable for part-time work.
