About the job
As Principal Scientist - Commercial Cell Culture Development within our Cell Culture Development (CCD) team, you'll lead the development of innovative cell culture processes for our late-stage biological products. Ready to get started?
Based in Vitry-sur-Seine, you will be a scientific leader within the Commercial Cell Culture Development department, working in a dynamic and collaborative environment. You'll directly contribute to the development of innovative processes that support the commercialization of Sanofi's biological products.

Main responsibilities:
- Drive development of robust fed-batch and perfusion cell culture processes for commercial manufacturing
- Lead and mentor a team of upstream process development technicians
- Design innovative strategies for media development and cell metabolism optimization
- Manage successful process scale-up and transfer to manufacturing sites
- Author upstream sections for regulatory submissions (IND/BLA) and address agency questions
- Build strong partnerships within the global Cell Culture Development network
About you
- Experience : Deep expertise in cell culture process development for biological products, including media development, process characterization and bioreactor engineering
- Technical and soft skills :
- Strong leadership and project management capabilities
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and influence strategic decisions

Expertise in upstream bioprocess development and scale-up
- Education : Ph.D. in biotechnology, biochemical engineering, or related field
- Languages : Fluent in English and good working knowledge of French
Note: This position requires frequent interaction with international teams, with English as the primary working language.
