Hexagon Metrology Division Romer is part of the Hexagon Group. It manufactures several ranges of metrology devices with different measurement volumes and precision. It also produces a whole range of accessories to optimize and simplify measurement (digitizing cameras, probes with and without contact, etc.).

We are currently looking for a C++ system developer (m/f) to strengthen our R&D team at our site in Montoire sur le Loir (41), soon in Vendôme!

Detailed description :

Reporting to the R&D Manager, your main missions will be:

• Analyze the needs of the customer (measuring arm product line) and the user (end customer and internal users such as production operators, technicians from our technical centers) then draw up the functional specifications (specifications, deadlines, etc.)
• Develop and write the technical specifications (technical specifications) of the computer application
• Realize software prototypes of the technical solution for validation by the client (standard configuration, etc.)
• Design and develop computer programs and applications in C++ under Windows
• Define and carry out the technical and functional test phases of computer programs and applications (planning, validation, etc.)
• Analyze technical and functional problems and propose fixes, technical compliance, etc.
• Develop and write documents and technical support for developers, users, IT departments, etc.
• Position based on the production site of Montoire-sur-Le-Loir (41).

Required profile :

• Initial training from Bac+2 in computer science / industrial computing
• Ideally a first experience in application development
• Travel by vehicle is to be expected.

Required skills:

• Mastery of programming in C++ under Windows essential
• Knowledge of C# and .NET is a plus
• Knowledge of boost, STL, C++/11, C++/CLI, SQL and MFC desired
• Knowledge of application architecture essential
• Knowledge of the Windows operating system is essential, knowledge of Linux is a plus
• Low level communication with hardware: TCP/IP, USB, RS232
• Good knowledge of mathematics: manipulation of matrices, trigonometry
• Agile/Scrum programming experience preferred
• Collaborative work with tools like JIRA, confluence,
• Proficiency in Visual Studio 2015 or higher
• Foreign languages: English – Fluent
• Real analytical and synthesis skills. Common sense.
