Our end-client based in the Canton of Solothurn, Switzerland, is looking for an SAP Technology (Basis) Consultant to join their in-house team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a company who are at the forefront of the very latest technologies such as SAP BTP, SAP FIORI, SAP Cloud ALM etc. They are searching for a like minded individual who loves staying on top of and implementing new technologies.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of professional SAP experience in an SAP BASIS environment (ECC / HANA);
• Must have strong knowledge of SAP Cloud, SAP BTP and SAP Fiori applications;
• Must have experience with IDOC environments and providing 2nd level user support
• Must have a strong interest in new technologies with an independent, solution-oriented mindset
• Must be a team player with a positive, open attitude who is resilient and reliable
• Should have high customer and service orientation with confidence and assertiveness
• Must be flexible, adaptable, and comfortable working in a dynamic environment

Nice to have but not mandatory:

• Sub-project leadership experience is a nice to have
• ABAP reading/debugging skills are nice to have
• Foundation knowledge of SAP Cloud ALM Technology is nice to have

Main Responsibilities:

• In this role you will be responsible for the operation, design and development of the SAP system landscape across the group.
• You will advise stakeholders, ensure incident management and drive the implementation of modern SAP technologies, including SAP Cloud ALM and SAP Fiori applications.
• Advise stakeholders on practical SAP architectures and integrations
• Implement and expand group-wide SAP Fiori applications
• Support the group-wide rollout of SAP Cloud ALM technology
• Set up, operate, and further develop SAP HANA and cloud-based systems (e.g. AFI, Concur, SuccessFactors)
• Design SAP system architectures and manage operations
• Manage SAP transport management in conjunction with ServiceNow ITSM
• Handle incident tickets within your SAP area, including thorough documentation
• Act as a sub-project manager for SAP system lifecycle implementations in cooperation with external partners
• Contribute to the architecture of future landscapes, tools and processes

Languages:

• Must have solid German communication skills, minimum B2 level
• Must be fluent in English

Salary Package:

• The Fixed Basic Salary on offer is subject to your skills, knowledge and experience and ranges up to CHF 145,000 gross per annum
