As they expand their local operations, they are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead and optimize their production and distribution activities.

Responsibilities

• Operational Leadership: Oversee and coordinate all aspects of production, distribution, and administrative activities within the unit, ensuring seamless daily operations and alignment with company objectives.
• Team & External Partner Management: Directly manage unit staff (excluding Sales and Field Service Engineers) and external partners such as transport companies and contractors, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
• Compliance & Safety: Ensure the effective dissemination and application of company policies, procedures, and standards. Maintain strict compliance with Turkish safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements, working closely with Quality, Safety, and Regulatory Affairs (QSR) and other relevant departments.
• Facility & Maintenance Oversight: Plan and schedule mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation maintenance for all equipment, with special attention to quality control (QC) systems. Verify the successful execution of all maintenance activities to guarantee technical-operational efficiency.
• Process & Product Quality: Monitor and optimize production processes to ensure product quality meets company specifications. Oversee efficient warehouse management, accurate administrative processes, and timely product distribution.
• Stakeholder Relations: Liaise with local authorities for permits, authorizations, and compliance matters, and ensure ongoing training for staff in collaboration with QSR and Prevention and Protection departments.
• Positive Work Climate: Promote a constructive and inclusive team culture, encouraging open communication and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Relevant Experience: At least 7 years of experience in operations, production, or plant management within the technical gas, chemical, or industrial sectors, with proven leadership of multidisciplinary teams.
• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial management, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.
• Technical & Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of production processes, maintenance planning, and Turkish/EU safety and environmental regulations.
• Leadership & Communication: Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams, with excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Language & Mobility: Fluency in Turkish; proficiency in English is highly valued. Willingness to travel within Turkey as needed.
