Tasks
As the Tooling and Test Equipment Engineer, Electrical, you will be entrusted with a spectrum of responsibilities, including:
- Specify or develop tools, test fixtures, and automated test stands as needed using standard and specialized test equipment and software development tools
- Write technical specifications and create drawings using CAD tools
- Create test instructions and procedures for component testing
- Assist in training technicians in the usage of test equipment
- Provide engineering support for calibration and maintenance of all test equipment
- Provide engineering support to production for current testing/repair capabilities and solve production issues involving test equipment, instrumentation, software, and data acquisition systems
- Coordinate internal and external resources to complete projects and documentation requirements

Requirements
You must fulfill the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical and/ or computer engineering or equivalent required
- Master’s degree desirable
- 2–5 years of engineering experience, including at least 2 years in aviation MRO engineering desirable
- Experience in designing Tooling and Test Equipment to meet CMM requirements and navigate efficiently through repair documentation
- Experience in troubleshooting hardware and software issues
- Fluency in English language required
- Knowledge in Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul Business (MRO)
- Knowledge in Aviation law, both EASA and FAA
- MS Office skills as user
- Willingness to travel
- Must possess a valid driver’s license
- Manage constant time pressure
- Manage high stress levels
- Must possess a legal work permit in the U.S.
