Postdoctoral Researcher Stem Cell Niche Biology and Mechanobiology (m/f/d)
The Grigoryan Lab (Stem Cell Niche & Aging Research Group) at the Institute of Molecular Medicine, Ulm University, invites highly motivated and qualified scientists to apply for a postdoctoral position within the ERC-2024-STG-funded project 1101165141-MANAGE HSC. This project combines stem cell and stem cell niche biology, bone marrow/niche engineering, and cell mechanics to investigate changes in the mechanical properties of the aging stem cell niche and their impact on hematopoietic stem cell function.

Your profile:
PhD in Mechanobiology, Stem Cell and Bone Marrow Niche Biology, or a related field Professional experience in cell mechanics research Professional experience with confocal microscopy and data visualization Professional experience in cell culture Experience with in vivo experiments in mice (FELASA B certificate) is an advantage Strong planning and organizational skills, as well as ability to work independently English language proficiency (written and spoken) Your responsibilities:
Develop your research project by planning and conducting experiments and analysing and interpreting the data ontained Present your research project at lab meetings and national and international conferences Supervise undergraduate and graduate students Participate in lab organization We offer
