IHRE AUFGABEN

Für den Bereich Airborne Radar Software suchen wir am Standort Ulm einen Software Engineer (m/w/d).
Unsere Abteilung entwickelt hochleistungsfähige Prozessorsysteme mit sicherheitskritischer Software für die Radarverarbeitung und setzt dabei Multicore-Technologien ein. Moderne Methoden wie Model-Driven Development, Continuous Integration & Delivery sowie agile Entwicklung nach SAFe sind Teil unserer täglichen Arbeit.

Ihre Aufgaben:

• Analyse von Software-Anforderungen und Algorithmen zur Ableitung von Testfällen
• Implementierung der Testfälle in eine bestehende Test-Infrastruktur
• Durchführung von Tests auf Software-Ebene und Analyse der Ergebnisse
• Einleitung und Begleitung notwendiger Korrekturmaßnahmen im Entwicklungsteam
• Unterstützung der Systemintegration bei Fehleranalysen

IHR PROFIL

Studium

• Abgeschlossenes Studium in Mathematik, Physik, Elektrotechnik oder vergleichbarer Fachrichtung (mind. Bachelor)

Berufserfahrung

• Erfahrung mit agilen Entwicklungsprozessen
• Programmierkenntnisse in C / C++

IT-Kenntnisse

• Sehr gute Matlab-Kenntnisse
• Gute Kenntnisse in Python und Linux
• MS-Office: sicher in der Anwendung

Sprachen

• Deutsch: verhandlungssicher
• Englisch: verhandlungssicher

Weitere Qualifikationen

• Gutes Verständnis von Algorithmen
• Ausgeprägte analytische Fähigkeiten

YOUR TASKS

We are looking for a Software Engineer (m/f/d) for the Airborne Radar Software department at our Ulm location.
Our department develops high-performance processor systems with safety-critical software for radar processing, using multicore technologies. Modern methods such as Model-Driven Development, Continuous Integration & Delivery, and agile development according to SAFe are part of our daily work.

Your tasks:

• Analysis of software requirements and algorithms for deriving test cases
• Implementation of test cases into an existing test infrastructure
• Conducting software-level tests and analyzing the results
• Initiation and support of necessary corrective actions within the development team
• Supporting system integration with error analysis

YOUR PROFILE

Studies

• Completed degree in mathematics, physics, electrical engineering, or a comparable field (at least a bachelor's degree)

Professional experience

• Experience with agile development processes
• Programming skills in C/C++

IT skills

• Excellent Matlab skills
• Good knowledge of Python and Linux
• MS Office: proficient in its use

Languages

• Fluent in German
• Fluent in English

Other qualifications

• Good understanding of algorithms
• Strong analytical skills
