Technical Sales Representative (m/f/d)

We are a german high-tech company based in Ulm and an innovative manufacturer and developer of energy storage technology. Focusing on innovations in intelligent load management and reliable battery management systems have made BOS energy storage systems and batteries one of the most popular in the caravan and boat industry in Europe. At the same time, our off grid systems provide independence from the poor power grid, diesel gensets and other sources. This has enabled us to reach key markets in rural areas in Africa, Southeast Asia and Latin America with insufficient access to modern energy services.

Job description

This is what your work looks like

• Support and expansion of our national and international customer base
• Active acquisition of new customers and presentation of our products and solutions
• Development of individual solution concepts – from the initial idea to the final proposal
• Conducting sales negotiations and following up on quotations
• Collaboration with the Technical Service team to resolve technical customer inquiries
• Participation in the planning and implementation of sales strategies
• Direct reporting line to the Sales and Management Board

Profile

In order to keep moving forward

• Successfully completed degree or apprenticeship in electrical engineering, industrial engineering, or a comparable qualification with a strong sales orientation
• Knowledge of the battery or energy industry is an advantage
• Ideally, several years of experience in technical sales
• Strong communication skills as well as customer support and development abilities
• Business-fluent German and English skills
• Willingness to travel (approx. 30%) and enthusiasm for direct customer interaction
