About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Rigid Frame Truck Electrical Installation Team . This team designs and supports electrical harnessing, cables, and associated hardware for large mining trucks tested in Tucson and built in Decatur, IL. You’ll work on a blend of mechanical and electrical components, collaborating closely with peers and product groups to develop and review designs.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and supervise electrical equipment manufacturing and installation.
• Review and approve design models for cost-effectiveness, reliability, and safety.
• Collaborate with clients on project timelines and cost estimates.
• Direct and coordinate manufacturing, construction, installation, and testing activities.
• Inspect installations for compliance with specifications and safety standards.
• Support detailing and checking of prints, cost rollups, FMEA, APQP, and other engineering tasks.

Required Skills & Experience

• Technical:
• Electrical harness design experience
• Extensive Creo, Teamcenter, and/or Fluid Lines experience
• FMEA, APQP, and technical problem-solving
• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics
• Soft Skills:
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently after training

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to troubleshoot wiring and cable mounting issues
• Experience with 3D clearance checks and TeamCenter Vis Mockup

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Master’s or PhD considered)
• 8+ years of relevant experience
