In this dynamic role, you'll lead impactful problem-solving programs, optimize processes, and drive waste reduction strategies that deliver measurable results. You'll facilitate engaging kaizen events supporting SQDC initiatives while redesigning workstations for maximum efficiency and safety. Job Responsibilities:

  • Be a Change Catalyst: Drive organizational transformation by ensuring the right skills, tools, and resources are in place to optimize performance while championing culture change and process transformation.
  • Lead with Influence: Leverage your exceptional leadership skills to tackle complex challenges, with a laser focus on enhancing quality, compliance, service metrics, and financial outcomes.
  • Apply Cutting-Edge Methodologies: Showcase your expertise in Continuous Improvement approaches like Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other transformative techniques.
  • Solve Complex Manufacturing Puzzles: Take ownership of challenging manufacturing processes and problems, applying systematic and methodical approaches to find innovative solutions.
  • Embrace Technological Innovation: Stay at the forefront of industry developments, comprehending and implementing new technologies.
  • Mentor and Develop Talent: Guide technical and engineering personnel on Continuous Improvement projects, providing expert support, coaching, and mentorship.
  • Architect Our Improvement Strategy: Design and implement comprehensive continuous improvement initiatives including:
    • Creating powerful metrics and measurement systems that drive accountability
    • Facilitating cost-saving A3 processes that impact the bottom line
    • Spearheading project management for continuous improvement initiatives
    • Building cross-functional collaboration, engagement, and ownership
  • Partner with Leadership: Work alongside key stakeholders to identify strategic business opportunities and support achievement of critical business goals.
  • Drive Performance Excellence: Analyze performance trends to catalyze improvements and establish manufacturing consistency.
  • Collaborate Across Departments: Work with managers and leaders to identify priorities and implement the most effective methods for process and culture transformation.
  • Elevate Communication: Effectively communicate business challenges and opportunities to senior leadership to ensure alignment and support.
  • Champion Problem-Solving: Implement systematic approaches to problem-solving and root cause analysis that eliminate issues at their source.
  • Innovate Product Introductions: Participate in new product launches and transfers, with a keen eye for identifying and eliminating waste before it becomes embedded.
  • Build an Improvement Culture: Engage, train, and coach employees at all levels to become passionate champions of continuous improvement processes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a Core Engineering field
  • Five (5) years of Operational Excellence experience in a regulated manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certification

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Root Cause Analysis, Waste Reduction, and OEE/Productivity assessment

  • Documenting and conducting Time Studies

  • AutoCAD

  • Applying LEAN methodologies and FMEA analysis

  • SAP environment and data integration management

  • Agile Methodology

  • Project Management

  • Demonstrated success in several significant savings and cultural change projects.
  • Ability to solve problems and conflicts, work well with others and demonstrate teamwork.
  • Customer focus, innovative, results oriented.
  • Demonstrates a solid work ethic and positive demeanor/attitude.
  • Lives the "continuous improvement” philosophy and can motivate change successfully
  • Ability to influence others
