AN EXCITING CHANCE TO JOIN THE W VERBIER TEAM
We are looking for an experienced Chef de Rang Sommelier to join our Beverage and Food team.
As Sommelier, you will assist the B&F Manager for the creation and update of the wine lists for the entire hotel and be particularly strong in Swiss/Europeans wines.
Creativity will be required so will your ability to talk and share your knowledge with both guests and talents.
This Sommelier role offers an exciting opportunity to enhance your skills by working alongside outstanding professionals with international hospitality experience.
You will also help the waiters to serve Beverage & Food items to customers in a friendly, enthusiastic, professional, and timely manner.
You will aid in clearing tables during service.
You will aid in maintaining the proper condition and cleanliness of dining areas and servicing equipment.
PROFILE
Fluency in English and French is essential and experience within a luxury 5* environment would be desirable.
Experience in a similar position
You should hold a Diploma or at minimum a certificate from an international organization
You should be highly motivated.
Real interest in the worlds of taste, sound, body, scene and stance
Be detail oriented and have a passion for giving guests an exceptional experience.
Position to be filled beginning of 2026
