INTERMAPS® is a software and media company focused on sensor-driven data analytics, custom software development and native apps. A speciality is our passion for skiing, embodied by the iSKI® brand, as well as our digital map systems and data management in general. We are active in 15 countries on 3 continents.
We develop a wide ecosystem of digital tools for ski resorts and outdoor destinations worldwide. Our platform combines mapping, waiting-time tracking, and guest activity analytics to help resort operators run safer, and more engaging tourist destinations.

Tasks
As a full-stack developer you will be working on both on the backend and the frontend, and carry out simple sys-admin tasks.
Requirements
Required:
- PHP (We use Symfony; experience with any modern framework or backend language is fine.)
- Experience with at least one strongly typed, compiled language (e.g., C, Java).
- React or another modern frontend framework/library.
- PostgreSQL or another relational database system.
- Strong understanding of OOP (interfaces, abstract classes, factories, static classes, dependency injection, etc.)
- Solid grasp of HTTP and how web applications work end-to-end.
- Basic Linux knowledge.
- Git proficiency.
- EU residence or work permit for Austria
Nice to Have (Not Required):
- Experience with NoSQL databases.
- Knowledge of Geo / GIS technologies (e.g., PostGIS).
- Experience with high-availability systems (logging, error handling, caching, locking, etc.)
- Experience with data-heavy applications (indexing strategies, background jobs, long-running data processing).
- Familiarity with web servers (Apache, Nginx, etc.)
