Group e-FX Trading is a team of FX traders and analysts, covering the Foreign Exchange as well as physical Banknotes and Precious Metals business with special focus on the CEE area. The team unites desks in Vienna, Prague and Budapest which are responsible for market making and providing liquidity across Erste Group’s branch network in Austria (Sparkassen) as well as in the CEE countries. Trading via electronic trading platforms and offering our products via digital channels is very important. Our aim is to offer an excellent service to all our external and internal customers!

• As an intern with strong IT skills, you will be based on the trading floor at ERSTE Campus in Vienna, supporting traders in their daily operations
• Your responsibilities will include managing and processing orders from the bank’s sales network, analyzing trading data, and optimizing daily processes
• You will gain deep insights into the workings of trading and treasury operations in a large bank and collaborate with various units of Group Treasury

• Ongoing Studies at a University/University of Applied Sciences with a technical or business economic focus
• Enthusiastic about data analysis and interest in financial markets & finance
• Strong analytical and abstract thinking skills
• Passionate about teamwork and continuous learning
• Appreciative communication as well as fluency in English and German (preferably native speaker) 

• Exciting and challenging part-time internship (19.25h/week) as of January 2026 for a duration of 12 months
