Join our Rating & Financials team within Credit Risk Portfolio Management at Erste Group – we own the group-wide financial analysis tool and shape the quality and efficiency of rating processes across the Group.The Rating & Financials team oversees the operational execution and quality assurance of financial statement analyses and corporate rating processes across Erste Group. As business owners of the financial analysis tool, we ensure its development, data integrity and support for subsidiaries. Run-the-Bank (RtB) ensures operational excellence in ratings, financials and compliance, while Change-the-Bank (CtB) drives automation, process-related changes in the implementation of new rating models - together shaping a consistent, future-ready rating framework across the Group.
Your Responsibilities
As a senior specialist in the CtB stream, you will drive strategic transformation in Rating & Financials by leading digitalization and automation initiatives, contributing to implementation of new rating models, especially for Corporates and Specialized Lending, and collaborating closely with other key stakeholders. Additionally, you will support the ongoing enhancement and maintenance of the financial analysis system and provide expert guidance to colleagues across Erste Group.
- Lead and contribute to the development, rollout, and continuous improvement of financial rating models, with a focus on Corporates and Specialized Lending
- Support the enhancement and maintenance of the financial analysis system, and provide subject matter expertise and technical support to colleagues within the team and across Erste Group entities
- Provide expert input on financial analysis and rating methodology to support strategic group-wide initiatives, such as Financial Health and other cross-functional projects
- Drive automation and digitalization to streamline rating workflows and financial analysis, collaborate with Model Division on model-related IT and methodology topics, and ensure proper documentation and training for new models and process changes
Your Profile
- Experience in digitalization and automation of financial processes, paired with a proactive approach to process improvement
- Expertise in financial analysis and corporate credit risk, ideally with experience in Corporates and Specialized Lending business
- Solid foundation in accounting, supported by a completed Master’s degree in economics or finance
- Familiarity with rating model development and implementation, combined with experience in IT coordination and testing, and the ability to provide expert guidance to stakeholders
- Proficiency in Office 365 is required; experience with databases such as Oracle and familiarity with SQL or other programming languages are advantageous
- Strong communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional, international settings, paired with a structured, solution-oriented approach and high ownership
- Fluent in German and English
