Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Automation Development : Develop and improve automation scripts using Python, PowerShell/Bash, or other scripting tools to streamline and support operational processes and tasks
• CI/CD Pipeline Management : Assist in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Jira/Bitbucket Pipelines to enhance software development and delivery workflows
• Process Automation : Collaborate with teams to identify manual and repetitive tasks, finding opportunities to automate these processes effectively
• API Integration : Work with APIs to automate interactions and integrations between systems and tools for improved efficiency
• Testing and Debugging : Conduct testing and debugging of automation workflows to ensure reliability, efficiency, and effective performance
• Process Optimization : Identify areas for process enhancement and contribute to their optimization and implementation across workflows
• Documentation : Document automation processes, scripts, workflows, and associated tools, ensuring they are clear, maintainable, and usable for team members

Type of employment: Temporary / Part-time or Full-time (flexible working hours from Monday to Friday between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m.)

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or a Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Data Scienceor a related field
• Technical Skills : Possess strong programming abilities in Python, coupled with hands-on experience in scripting with languages like PowerShell or Bash. Familiarity with SQL is an added advantage
• Version Control Knowledge : Familiar with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) workflows and capable of utilizing version control platforms like Git (GitLab, GitHub, or Bitbucket)
• Automation Fundamentals : Basic understanding of automation principles and exposure to tools commonly used for process automation
• API Knowledge : Knowledge of working with REST APIs to integrate systems is a plus
• Problem-Solving Mindset : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Team Collaboration & Communication: Effective communication skills and a willingness to collaborate
  with engineering teams
• Passion for Optimization: Enthusiasm for process improvement, workflow automation and enhancing software delivery pipelines to improve efficiency and productivity.

This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry (full-time), employment group B for bachelor students, employment group D for master students ( https://www.feei.at/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/minimum-salaries-white-c… ).
