API Support for Early Phase Development | Lonza

Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates and their families, if needed.

Key responsibilities:

• Aid in the advancement and establishment of procedures and processes in the Early Phase Expansion.

• Support the establishment of new laboratories, including User Requirements Specifications (URS).

• Collect, summarize, and analyze data to prepare reports and presentations.

• Provide on-the-job training and support to new team members.

• Address scientific challenges within R&D and make meaningful contributions to the scientific domain or methodology.

• Demonstrate scientific and technical leadership at the project level.

• Participate in customer meetings and develop strong customer relationships.

• Evaluate and implement trends and innovations in the area of expertise.

• Supervise lab professionals to ensure flawless execution of tasks.

Key requirements:

• Completed Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering; a Master's degree or equivalent experience is advantageous.

• Practical experience in chemical process development and utilization of fundamental analytical methods like HPLC and NMR.

• Passion for working in a chemical laboratory with an interest in laboratory automation and data analysis.

• Demonstrated ability to work independently with precision and reliability.

• Strong teamwork skills and enjoyment of interdisciplinary cooperation.

• Experience in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is advantageous.

• Proficiency in English is necessary; knowledge of German or willingness to learn German is required.
