As a Digital Innovation Specialist (m/f/d) based in Visp, you will play a key role in driving digital transformation across the global Advanced Synthesis (ADS) network. In this position, you support the implementation of the digital strategy, advance modern OT solutions, and enable data‑driven innovation. You collaborate closely with global and site teams to ensure digital technologies effectively enhance operational performance and compliance.

What you will do:
Execute and further develop the global digital roadmap within the ADS network
Deploy, optimize, and maintain OT systems and digital applications (e.g., DCS, MES, data pipelines, analytics tools)
Translate operational requirements into effective, feasible digital solutions
Lead selected innovation and digitalization initiatives from concept to implementation
Ensure proper documentation, lifecycle management, and change control for assigned digital systems
Support sites with rollout, troubleshooting, and optimization of digital platforms
Contribute to digital capability‑building, best‑practice sharing, and standardized training and documentation
What we are looking for:
Completed apprenticeship in manufacturing, process engineering, or similar; preferably complemented by a BSc/MSc degree
Solid understanding of OT systems (e.g., DCS, MES) and digital manufacturing technologies
Strong ability to simplify complex technical content and convert needs into digital solutions
Experience in cross‑functional collaboration and participation in global projects
Strong analytical skills and experience using data‑driven insights
High learning agility, innovative mindset, and openness to new technologies
Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills; proficiency in English and German
