For our recently launched outstanding biological manufacturing and development concept in Visp, Switzerland, we currently have an opening for students who would like to do an internship or write a thesis linked to the pharmaceutical industry. The duration is between 9 and 12 months.

What you will do:

• Contribute to the routine testing of protein therapeutics (HPLC, CE SDS, icIEF, LC-MS or other methods)
• Generation and collection of high-quality data, including performing data analysis and interpretation of results
• Working independently on the implementation of improvements and development of new technical solutions
• Maintenance of laboratory equipment and responsibility for associated laboratory activities.

What we are looking for:

• Basic knowledge of biochemical methods is a must. Hands-on laboratory experience is beneficial
• Scientific curiosity and interest in analytical chemistry
• Skills in data analysis and interpretation are desired
• Collaborative and good communication skills in English
