What you’ll do:

• Execute experimental laboratory work at upstream pilot scale including vials out-of-freeze, seed expansion, inoculation and monitoring of 50/200/500L scale bioreactors and depth filtration primary recovery.

• Perform media and buffer preparations and run fed-batch processes using mammalian cells in single-use bioreactors.

• Generate and collect high quality data in collaboration with scientists and other laboratory technicians.

• Contribute to the maintenance of the laboratory equipment and ensure appropriate cleaning of the workplace.

• Participate to the establishment of the work instructions for the laboratory equipment.

• Contribute to the order and registration of raw materials and consumables for customer projects.

What we’re looking for:

• Own an apprenticeship degree of laboratory technician or equivalent.

• Experience in mammalian cell culture and operating bioreactors (2-3 years) including preparation of cell culture media and buffers.

• Report issues in a timely fashion to scientists and/or management

• English is mandatory, German is a plus.

• Demonstrate high flexibility to support other activities within development services department.
