What you’ll do:

• Manages as team lead the personnel activities of 6x20k BMS production staff with overall responsibility of the shift team s with regard to safety, quality and on-time-in full delivery.

• Is responsible t ogether with the Head of BMS for production planning, problem solving and the realization of innovation projects.

• Is accountable for the performance and results of the shift team s together with the shift team leads .

• Responsible for the safety culture, i.e. the general work safety as well as the safe behaviour of the shift teams

• Responsible for the training concept and execution of the shift teams together with the shift teams leads and the technical trainer .

• Manages the Long-term and cost-optimized planning of shift teams.

What we’re looking for:

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in scientific field.

• Solid work experience of 2-5 years in the GMP controlled pharmaceutical/biotech industry is a prerequisite.

• Proven leadership and people management skills. Capable of managing multiple points of view and building partnerships. Embracing Lonza’s core leadership principles.

• Comprehensive knowledge of production processes and interrelationships in a large production area with detailed knowledge of all process steps and systems

• Experience in training execution and documentation .

• Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required . Nice to have , at least B1 Level (spoken and written) in German.
