What you’ll do
In the development area of industry Public Sector we are looking for a young professional for our development team in the area of Public Sector Management (PSM). On customer side our product ensures lean processes for our customer and citizens worldwide to spend and maintain their budget. Close cooperation with our customers drive our development. As a (associate) developer (f/m/d) you will work in an innovative scrum team environment with highly motivated colleagues. According to SAPs HPOM Model you will cover all stages and tasks within the entire software development cycle from the understanding of backlog Items till the final acceptance of it. You will closely cooperate with our scrum teams in Washington DC and Bangalore.
Role Requirements
• You work as a developer in an agile development team according to the cross functional approach in HPOM
• Your engineering work will integrate our PSM product with the main central components of SAP public cloud solution
• You take responsibility for design, testing, implementation and maintenance
• You cooperate closely with other development teams in Germany, North America and India and integrate other products
What you bring
Required skills
• programming skills on ABAP / HANA / HTML5
• experienced in S/4 development and delivery-processes - also with CILTS and JIRA
• Knowledge of Quality Processes and keen to adhere to for example by reasonable test automation
• Profound Knowledge of Product Standards esp. Performance and Security
• Produces excellent Design documents and Test descriptions
• Eager to understand business process background in demanding business process environment
• very good social skills and team player – consensus building and openness to new ideas and
Preferred skills
• Fluent German and English - verbal and written
• development knowledge in one of our Public Sector Management components
• Knowledge of Quality Processes
