What you’ll do

Kickstart your career in cloud application development as a full stack associate developer (f/m/d). If you're passionate about modern software architecture, microservices, Java (CAP), JavaScript (UI5), and GenAI, this role offers the perfect opportunity to grow.

As a Cloud Application Associate Developer (f/m/d) for SAP Project & Resource Management, you’ll join a dynamic, international team focused on building scalable cloud business applications. You’ll be involved across the entire software development lifecycle from participating in user interviews, writing code to testing and supporting customers. Your work will span both frontend and backend development, contributing to solutions that help customers across industries manage their projects more effectively.

Essential qualifications:
- Recent graduate or up to 3 years of experience in cloud-based or on-demand software development
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Natural Sciences, or a related field
- Fluent in English (spoken and written); German is a plus
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages such as Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar
- Experience in full stack web development, including frontend, backend, and database (SQL)
- Familiarity with REST/XML/JSON, Kafka, Spring Boot, Maven, Jenkins, Git/GitHub, and cloud technologies is a plus
- Exposure to SAP technologies like BTP, CAP/CDS, Fiori Elements/UI5, Cloud Foundry, and HANA is beneficial but not required

We’re part of the SAP Cloud ERP engineering organization, based in Walldorf and Markdorf, collaborating globally on the development of SAP Project & Resource Management. Our mission is to build a modern project management platform that empowers teams to manage projects efficiently with seamless integration into SAP Cloud ERP for financial and logistics processes, and support for cross-company collaboration.

If you have less than three years' professional experience, you'll be part of SAP Next Gen.
