What you`ll do

Are you passionate about creating smart sustainability solutions? We're on the lookout for a creative Junior Software Developer with skills in Java and Kotlin development, with complementary knowledge in the SAP Analytics Cloud.

What you bring

• Educational Background: Hold an academic degree in computer science or a related field of study, providing you with a solid foundation of the work for a sustainability software solution in a cloud company.
• Programming Skills: development experience in at least one object-oriented programming language, showcasing your ability to write efficient and maintainable code.
• Product Knowledge: Experience in the SAP Analytics Cloud is a plus
• Language Skills: Fluent German and English language skills are mandatory, ensuring effective communication within the team and with clients. Additional languages, like French, are a plus.
• Analytical Skills: Possess very good analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling you to address complex challenges and devise effective solutions.
• Commitment to Excellence: A high level of commitment to quality, reliability, and efficiency, ensuring your work consistently meets the highest standards.
• Responsibility & Initiative: Willingness to take ownership of tasks and responsibilities, demonstrating initiative and a proactive approach to achieving goals.

SAP Rural Sourcing Management is a mobile business solution connecting smallholder farmers and suppliers in rural areas with the supply chain of global agribusinesses and consumer products companies – powered by the SAP Cloud Platform. The solution falls under the portfolio of SAP’s Innovation Services and Support organization. The young SAP Rural Sourcing Management team has members all over Europe, with a focus on Karlsruhe.
