What you'll build

As a Working Student in our development team, you will contribute to building the financial processes that organizations around the world rely on to stay resilient, transparent, and future‑ready. In this role, you will support the development and continuous enhancement of software that helps millions of people and businesses manage essential financial interactions smoothly and securely.

You will work across different stages of the software development cycle and gain valuable business domain knowledge in Contract Accounting—a field that combines technical challenges with business complexity. This gives you the opportunity to develop both your engineering skills and your understanding of real‑world financial processes.
Your contribution will help companies worldwide handle high‑volume billing, payments, and account management efficiently, building the foundation that keeps everyday life running—quietly, reliably, and at scale.

What you bring

You are a student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences. We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stays curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

• Preferred fields of study: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Informatics, Mathematics, Physics or related fields with interest in software development
• Programming skills in at least one common programming language
• Fluent in English
• German language skills would be nice
• We work in a hybrid setup, and regular office presence is appreciated to make collaboration and learning as effective as possible

Where you belong

The team is enhancing and modernizing Contract Accounting in the public cloud. Contract Accounting is a high-volume subledger for mass customer accounting that delivers scalable, automated receivables and payment processing, tightly integrated with billing and revenue management and the S/4HANA Core.

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
