What you'll do

• Improve and extend our Python-based integration-test framework VIT for data flow executions
• Run the data flow scenario tests on Kubernetes and make them fast and reliable. The developers need a stable test framework
• Work with the developers in the team on new test scenarios that should be supported by VIT, e.g. work on chaos engineering features
• Modernize the test framework by using latest Python versions and packages

What you bring

• Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences
• Preferred fields of study: Computer Science or related
• Computer skills: Python, Docker, Kubernetes, Linux
• Language skills: Fluent in English, German as a plus
• Location: Near Walldorf as you have to come to the Office
• Soft skills: Team player, pro-reactive and self-motivating

Meet your team

Our team develops a data flow execution engine running on Kubernetes and is used by different SAP products, such as SAP Datasphere or SAP Data Intelligence.
We work in an agile Kanban mode and work on diverse topics every day, be it coding the actual service in Golang, designing new architecture or troubleshoot complex problems.

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
