What you'll build

You will support team members during the development of new product features going through the complete software development cycle, including design, coding, testing and quality assurance, using the newest cloud technologies and agile practices.

The Asset Administration Shell, the upcoming Digital Product Passports, and similar industry standards completely change the way how production-related assets of any kind are exchanged in cross-company business cases.

We are looking for a highly motivated, fast learning working student (f/m/d) with focus on backend development to support our core development team. You will implement own modules in mainly Java-based microservices as an integral part of the development team, participating and contributing in team meetings and embedded into the standard development processes of SAP.

What you bring

• Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences
• Preferred fields of study: Computer science or related field
• Computer skills / Programming languages: Java (preferred), NodeJS
• Language skills: English (fluent)
• Soft skills: Enthusiasm for software development and coding, Self-organizing, Quick learner and open for new challenges
• Working from Walldorf office is required / not strictly required, however, one day per week is preferred

Inside this product, our team’s mission is to harness the power of the Asset Administration Shell, Digital Product Passport, and other industry standards to pioneer a future where SAP applications can effortlessly plug into ever-evolving data ecosystems and achieve seamless data interoperability.

Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
