As a working student, you will play a key role in developing and refining both Python and TypeScript variants of our plugin. Your contributions will ensure robust integration of LangChain with SAP HANA Cloud, leveraging vector search, knowledge graph, and in-database capabilities to build sophisticated LLM-driven applications. By enhancing the functionality and performance of our plugin, you'll help unlock new potentials for organizations to harness the power of data-driven decision-making.

What you bring

• Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences
• Preferred fields of study: Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics or related technical disciplines
• Proficiency in programming languages Python and TypeScript
• Language skills: fluent in English, German as a plus
• Soft skills: Strong problem-solving ability, teamwork, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn and adapt
• Previous work experience or involvement in relevant projects is a plus

Meet your team

We are the development team behind SAP HANA’s Multi-model Engines and responsible for the Spatial Engine, the Graph and Hierarchies Engine, the JSON Document Store, the Vector Engine, and the Knowledge Graph Engine.

While we are technical experts for database internals, we also strive for an end-to-end understanding of our customers’ use cases in the space of Geographic Information Systems, Network Analysis and Generative AI.
