What you'll build

We’re looking for a motivated and curios working student (f/m/d), who wants to work in a diverse scrum team in the application unit ERP Public Cloud Engineering Accounting. You will apply methods of the lean development model and agile software engineering. You will contribute to improving and re-defining test automation in General Ledger functionalities for better quality of our products. We're looking for a student (f/m/d) to cover these tasks:

• Support the development, improvement, maintenance, and execution of the programs used for automatic testing of our General Ledger Master data apps in front- and back-end
• Perform test activities for UI in the functional domain of accounting
• Prepare and analyze some quality and administrative data and KPIs
• Build up and expand business knowledge within Finance
• Acquire quickly and maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant technologies and frameworks
• Share knowledge and collaborate closely with other team members, especially with development experts, the quality expert, and the affiliates teams

What you bring

• Student (f/m/d) at a university or a university of applied sciences
• Preferred fields of study: Computer Science or similar
• Computer skills: Microsoft Office, experience with programming in JavaScript and/or ABAP would be a plus
• Knowledge of Agile Software Engineering practices, Scrum, Design Thinking would be beneficial
• Language skills: Fluent in English and minimum basic German (A1)
• Regular (1-2 times a week) onsite attendance is required at Walldorf/ St. Leon Rot offices

The Unit Financial Accounting in Public Cloud ERP Engineering successfully delivers SAP’s simplification story by SAP S/4HANA. Accounting is a global development organization with teams in Walldorf, Potsdam, Shanghai, Brno that work in close collaboration with customers and partners to support superior finance processes and new business models.
