Application Engineer - 3D Layout
(fulltime, permanent contract)

The Role

In this role, you will significantly contribute to the successful technical planning and execution of our solar tracking systems. By designing and optimizing 3D layouts, you’ll help maximize land use efficiency, integrate technical requirements, and deliver visually compelling presentations for clients, partners, and internal teams—laying the foundation for smooth on-site project implementation.

• Create and adapt 3D layouts using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, PV Case, Civil 3D, Cinema 4D)
• Develop layout concepts for optimal land use in PV projects
• Generate detailed plans and bill of materials for efficient execution
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to integrate technical specifications
• Visualize and present layout concepts for internal and external stakeholders
• Perform feasibility analysis based on topography, shading, cut-and-fill, and placement
• Support in the preparation of technical documentation and design optimization

• Degree or vocational training in Mechanical/Civil Engineering, Technical Drawing, Renewable Energy, or similar
• Skilled in 3D layout creation and technical visualization
• Proficient in CAD tools (e.g., PV Case, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Cinema 4D)
• Experience in photovoltaics or solar tracking is a plus
• Analytical mindset, structured and solution-oriented
• Strong team player with a proactive and professional approach
• Excellent English skills for global collaboration
