Control Systems Engineer (m/f/d)
full-time, permanent employment

This position will report to the Head of Tracker Control and will work closely with Engineering Teams.

Tasks

• Test and validate new solutions for solar tracker control systems
• Collaborate with external EMS partners for the further development of AC and DC tracker control systems
• Perform measurements on solar tracker control systems for certification processes
• Create specific manuals and required documentation
• Provide root cause analysis reports for technical claims
• Handling and administration of our software application
• Create design guidelines and bill of materials for the electrical design of solar power plants
• Support and collaborate with product management, project execution, engineering, purchasing, sales and after sales.
• Develop and maintain programming codes for solar tracking algorithms using Python, Linux and other current programming languages.
• Check and create electronic design of circuit boards.

Requirements

• Have an university engineering degree (B.Eng./B.Sc., M.Eng./M.Sc.) in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or similar engineering degree or higher.
• Hands-on experience working with Azure DevOps
• High documentation and communication skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English and German language (at least C1)
• Own strong coordination skills as well as very good time-management.
• An outstanding team player with excellent interpersonal, intercultural skills and “can do” attitude.
• Ability to carry independent tasks in an organized way.
• Knowledge in long and medium range wireless communication systems.
• Experience in managing the development of technical products is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel (20%).
• Driving license.
