SAP Production Masted Data Architect (m/w/d)

Background:

We are looking for a structured and hands-on SAP Production Master Data Architect to support the Supply Chain Visp organization in designing, improving, and executing processes for the creation, maintenance, and governance of production master data and overall master data architecture. This role blends strategic architecture thinking with project management and operational execution, ensuring high data integrity, compliance, and scalability. The ideal candidate combines deep SAP Production Master Data expertise with experience driving transformation in regulated environments.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Lead and deliver projects focused on enhancing master data processes and architecture, ensuring sustainable improvements across the full lifecycle.
• On-hands tasks actively supporting the Master Data team in creating and maintaining master data, above all during the onboarding period.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance of Production Master Data elements such as recipes, BOMs, and production versions, aligned with operational and regulatory requirements.
• Work cross-functionally with quality, supply chain, procurement, and production teams to secure consistency, integrity, and traceability of data.
• Coordinate and manage documentation related to materials, including quality records, supplier information, and distribution data.
• Drive adherence to data governance standards and support user awareness and accountability across the organization.

Your Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Solid experience in SAP Production Master Data with proven expertise in Material Master creation and master data architecture.
• Strong knowledge of material types, recipes, BOMs, and production version management.
• Demonstrated success in leading process improvement and transformation projects in master data and data architecture.
• Experience in documentation management for materials across quality, supplier, and distribution dimensions.

Nice to have:

• Exposure to pharma or other highly regulated environments.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Fluent in English; German is an advantage
