Employee in Air Navigation Services (ANSE) - Flow Management Operator (100%)

Your mission:

After 10 months theoretical and on the job training, you will join our Flow Management team after a successfully passed final assessment. You will be responsible to ensure an optimum flow of air traffic through the airspace controlled by Skyguide.

Your tasks:

• Ensure an optimum flow of air traffic through the airspace controlled by Skyguide
• Ensure full exploitation of available capacity and maximum flexibility in handling traffic flows
• Perform planning activities and post-operations data analysis after each flight
• Interact with Air Traffic Control, the Swiss Airforces, airlines, pilots, airport authorities and many other stakeholders.
• Work irregular hours (7/7 ; 05:00-24:00)

What we are looking for:

• Matura or completed commercial/technical vocational training
• First work experience in the aviation sector, preferably in operation (24/7) with irregular hours
• Teamwork: You engage in interactions with diverse team members and actively contribute information, ideas, and insights in meetings or other interactions
• Problem solving: You seek accurate information to analyse problems, break down complex issues into manageable parts, and approach solutions in a systematic and structured way
• Self & social awareness: You manage emotions effectively, staying composed under stress and avoiding impulsive reactions
• Very good command in German & English (at least B2)
