Job Description
We are seeking a motivated Working Student / Intern (m/f/d) to join our Electrification Engineering team in Wegberg, Germany. This exciting opportunity focuses on the simulation of electrical machines and offers hands-on experience in cutting-edge electrification technologies. As part of our dynamic team, you will contribute to the development and optimization of electrical machine simulations while gaining valuable industry experience.
- Assist in developing and running simulations of various electrical machines using specialized software
- Analyze simulation results and interpret data to support engineering decisions
- Collaborate with team members to improve simulation models and methodologies
- Participate in the creation and maintenance of technical documentation
- Support ongoing research and development projects related to electrical machine design and optimization
- Conduct benchmarking and market analysis
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of simulation processes and tools
- Attend team meetings and present findings to senior engineers and project managers
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, particularly in the area of electrical machines
- Familiarity with simulation software for electrical systems (e.g., JMAG, or similar tools)
- Proficiency in programming languages such as MATLAB or Python
- Experience with CAD software is a plus
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a organized manner
- Good communication skills in English; German language skills are advantageous
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Enthusiasm for learning and applying new technologies in the field of electrification
- Willingness to commit to a minimum of 6 months for the internship/working student position
