As a DevOps & Automation Engineer, you will ensure that our systems run efficiently, reliably, and automatically – in the data center and in the cloud. You will support the entire lifecycle of our platform solutions: from planning and development to automation and operational monitoring. You will combine technical depth with vision and always keep the big picture in mind: How do we create self-service infrastructures that development teams can rely on? Which processes can be made even more efficient? And how do we seamlessly integrate new technologies into existing environments? You will actively contribute your experience,
particularly in the areas of CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and container orchestration – with a focus on tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, GitLab CI, Docker, and Kubernetes .

The focus here is on:

• CI/CD & Automation: You develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines (e.g., with GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins) that support our development teams in fast, secure deployments. You consistently adhere to GitOps principles.
• Infrastructure-as-Code: Using tools like Terraform and Ansible, you'll automate our infrastructure—whether in the cloud or in our own data center. You'll ensure stable, scalable setups and utilize declarative approaches for repeatability and traceability.
• Containers & Orchestration: You manage Kubernetes clusters, take care of scaling, updates, and security, and ensure the reliable operation of microservices. Monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK help you keep an eye on the systems at all times.

  Our salary range is between €72,000 and €85,000, but your performance is worth every cent to us – if you have more talent, you'll earn more.

Your skill checklist

• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Ansible or similar tools)

• Good knowledge of CI/CD workflows and experience with build/deploy tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)

• Container know-how (Docker, Kubernetes) and ideally virtualization experience (KVM, VMware)

• Practice in the administration of Linux systems

• Programming skills in at least one higher-level language (e.g., Go, Python) and one scripting language (e.g., Bash)

• Know-how in IT infrastructure : networks, firewalls, storage, monitoring & logging (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK)

• Independent and structured way of working, combined with a strong interest in new technologies

• Good knowledge of German and English for collaboration in the team and with stakeholders
