To strengthen our IT team, we are looking for a reliable System Administrator to join us as soon as possible, helping to further develop our digital infrastructure and support our research with modern IT so
Your tasks
- Administration and maintenance of the Windows domain, including AD/Entra ID, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policies
- Ensuring security and stability through monitoring, continuous updates, and upgrades
- Implementation of integrated solutions in collaboration with the institute’s departments
- Participation in and further development of IT projects and processes
Your skills
- Completed degree in Computer Science, vocational training as an IT Specialist in System Integration, or a comparable qualification acquired through practical experience
- Confident handling of virtualization, client and server operating systems, and other Microsoft products; knowledge of backup software and Linux systems is a plus
- Independent and precise working style, analytical thinking
- Strong communication skills and service orientation
- Excellent German (native speaker or at least B2 level) and English skills (at least B1 level), both written and spoken
- Confident use of common software applications
