ABOUT THE JOB

• You are part of the Global Procurement team in the central, strategic purchasing area
• Independent development and implementation of global and cross-location product group strategies (incl. global procurement market analyses, etc.), taking into account the corporate goals for the product group for which you are responsible (e.g. steel profiles and tubes, aluminum profiles, etc.)
• Implementation of supplier lifecycle management (selection, evaluation, development, phasing out, etc.)
• Negotiation of annual financial statements and major contract award projects, as well as framework, supply and work contracts
• Risk management in the supply chain and definition of the necessary preventive and countermeasures
• Identification and realization of savings potentials to achieve global procurement targets
• Coordination of multifunctional teams in purchasing projects (e.g. value analyses, savings projects, etc.)

• Completed training, degree or equivalent qualification
• At least 5 years of professional experience in the field of strategic purchasing
• The ability to think strategically and develop long-term strategies for product groups
• High technical affinity with an understanding of production technology
• Technical interest and experience with the product groups, e.g. steel profiles and tubes, aluminum profiles, etc.
• Very good communication skills and confident negotiation skills
• German language skills and advanced English language skills
