Backend Developer (Golang)

BACKEND DEVELOPER (GOLANG) ( m/f/d)

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable backend systems using Go (Golang), ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code, adhering to industry best practices and maintainability standards.
• Participate actively in architecture discussions and technical design reviews, contributing to system evolution and long-term stability.
• Build and maintain self-contained backend services using primarily TypeScript where applicable, ensuring seamless service integration.
• Collaborate closely with other developers and DevOps engineer, to align technical efforts with user and business needs.
• Monitor system health, performance, and security; proactively troubleshoot and improve reliability across services.
• Stay current with emerging technologies, frameworks, and practices, bringing forward proposals to enhance or modernize existing systems.
• Build and optimize APIs, microservices, and data pipelines to support scalable data exchange and efficient inter-service communication.

• 5+ years of experience in software development and strong expertise in backend engineering.
• Strong programming skills and hands-on experience with Go (Golang) in production environments.
• Proven experience building scalable, robust, and fault-tolerant backend services, aligned with modern architectural principles.
• Experience with DevOps tools and environments (e.g. Docker, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Azure, AWS).
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, InfluxDB, Redis).
• Understanding of distributed message broker systems, such as NATS or MQTT, and how they fit into scalable system architectures
• Fluent in English; experience working in decentralized and international teams.

For this position we pay an annual gross salary of at least € 70.000.--. We will agree your actual salary in a personal interview.
